shutters
All Window Fashion’s Shutter collection consists of the Kimberley (Basswood) and Sentosa (Fauxwood) ranges.
Kimberley - Basswood has become one of the most widely used materials for shutters in the global market. This is due to its resistance to warping, easy workability, durability, and its acceptance of a variety of finishes. 8 standard paint colours and 5 stain finishes are available as well as custom paint colours. All our Basswood is plantation grown. Basswood shutters are manufactured for indoors only, and are not recommended for wet areas.
Sentosa - Fauxwood is extruded using a PVC material, and has been developed to make shutters suitable for wet areas such as bathrooms and above kitchen sinks. Aluminium reinforcement is used in the stiles to reduce weight and increase the strength of the shutters. Sentosa shutters are available in 8 standard colours as well as custom paint colours, and are termite and fire resistant. Whilst Sentosa shutters are suitable for wet areas, they are not recommended for outdoor use.
Kimberley and Sentosa blades are both available in 63, 89 and 114mm, with the choices of operation being traditional tilt bar or the more popular modern hidden strip option.
